Faced with a looming labour shortage of up to 45,000 employees by 2016, Canadian electricity sector stakeholders from industry and government have teamed up to develop a program aimed at filling that void. Dubbed Bridging the Gap, the Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) led initiative aims to drastically increase the numbers of women working in the sector.
