Canadian Green Tech is headed by Perry Hoffman, a veteran technology, wireless communications, telecommunications and broadcasting writer and editor. He has covered many of the key telecommunications regulatory and policy developments over the past 12 years, including proceedings at the CRTC, consultations at Industry Canada and Parliamentary committee hearings.

Hoffman has covered in great detail a variety of communications issues such as national broadband, wireless number portability, telecommunications deregulation. enhanced wireless 911 and Industry Canada's spectrum management program. He has also written extensively about telecommunications and competition policy review panels, which both recommended significant updates to Canada's telecom and competition laws. More recently, Hoffman covered CRTC hearings that established a new regulatory framework for cable and satellite TV companies and the contentious issue of fees for carriage in the broadcasting sector.

Driven by a desire to fill a void in the coverage of Canada's emerging green technology space, he launched Canadian Green Tech this year. The online news site promises to provide businesses, government and other key stakeholders in the green space with one-stop website for news and infromation on Canada's green sector.
