William Johnson, CEO of Biodiesel production company BIOX Corp., has resigned to pursue opportunities closer to his family in the US. He will replaced on an interim basis by Kevin Norton, COO until a replacement can be found.

Solar & Alternative Technology Corp. (SAT) is teaming up with Soventix Canada Inc. (known as Sovello) to deploy one of the world’s largest rooftop solar PV systems. The 7.9 MW project will be installed on one of Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd.’s warehouses.

Blackstone Solar Inc. has landed $15 million in financing from an institutional lender to finance the development of rooftop solar PV projects up to 500 kW in size, the company announced earlier this week.
