GreenField gets federal funding

GreenField Ethanol has been awarded $79.75 million over seven years under the federal government’s ecoENERGY for Biofuels program. The money will be used to support the company’s Varennes QC ethanol facility which is expected to produce 145 million litres of ethanol annually.

SNC to design and build Plasco’s commercial waste-to-energy facilities

Russian company buys Thermo Design system with help of EDC financing

Export Development Corp. is helping finance a Russian company’s purchase of Thermo Design Engineering Ltd.’s (LDE) flared gas capture and processing system. EDC will loan US$48 million to Gazprombank.
