Arguments from the Progressive Conservatives that ending Ontario’s Feed-in-Tariff Program would usher in a new era of affordable electricity costs and create jobs at the same time should be viewed as nothing more than political rhetoric aimed at rallying the anti-renewable energy groups. The reality is, according to expert analyses, renewable energy has played only a small part in electricity cost increases.
