Late last month, the Ontario Power Authority held a meeting with stakeholders on its conservation and demand management framework, calling for a 7 TWh reduction electricity consumption by 2020. Opower director of sales Drew Sloan told the OPA’s Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) that there a couple of ways the province can reach this, but noted, setting annual goals and adopting a go-slow, incremental approach is the best option.
