On January 1, the United Nations’ sustainable development goals (SDGs) came into force - two of the most important from a Canadian point of view being affordable and clean energy and climate change. SDGs aren’t just for government’s, the private sector has a role to play. This week, the Global Compact Network Canada - the domestic organization responsible for the SDGs - held a min-conference exploring the role of the private sector in meeting SDGs.
